Introduction Of Mumtaz Mufti:
Mumtaz Mufti was the great name of Urdu literature. In early age, he was considered liberal intellectual and alien from the religion. He inspired from the thoughts and worked of Sigmund Fried. He was the close friend of Ashfaq Ahmad. At begging, Mumtaz Mufti profoundly opposed the partition of India. But, later became the patriotic Pakistani Islamist. Some people say these are changing come in their personality due to the friendship of Qudrat Ullah Shahab. In spite of it, he maintained his separate identity as a writer and intellectual which saw in Mumtaz Mufti books.
Mumtaz Mufti compiled an excellent travelogue book Labbaik which published first in the episode. It contains the details of his Hajj travel along with Qudratullah Shahab. This book earned much fame and readership for Mumtaz Mufti and always sat on top in Mumtaz Mufti books. His two autobiographies Ali Pur Ka Aili and Alakh Nagri also are the treasure of the Urdu literature.
Early Life:
Mumtaz Mufti was born on September 11, 1905, at Batala (District Gurdaspur) in the house of Mufti Mohammad Hussain. He got his early education from Mianwali, Multan, and Dera Ghazi Khan. He got his graduate degree from the Islamia College Lahore.
Mumtaz’s first book ‘ Jhuki Jhuki Ankhain’ published in Lahore. This book turned Mumtaz Hussain to Mumtaz Mufti.
Death
He has died on 27 October 1995 at the age of 91 years in Islamabad. You may know Hazrat Qudratullah Shahab R.A and Ashfaq Ahmad (Legend Sufi Baba).

مرد کو کوئی چودھری کہے تو وہ سمجھتا ہے کہ اُسے چودھری تسلیم کر لیا گیا ہے ۔۔۔ اسے یہ نہیں سوجھتی کہ آیا اس سے چودھری کا سلوک بھی ہو رہا ہے یا نہیں ۔۔۔۔
حرم شریف اللہ کا گھر ہے ۔۔۔ اللہ کی طرح حرم شریف کی فضا بھی بے نیاز ہے ۔۔۔
